Higher Ground: Discover Yours!
Over the years, I’ve enrolled in several creative writing groups and all of these were enriching and inspiring, as well as instrumental in keeping my love for writing alive. The value of these experiences has led me to offer them to others.
It can be challenging to stay motivated and to find the time to write. Meeting weekly with a group of like-minded women who either write or want to write is not only enjoyable and fulfilling, but can jumpstart and sustain us as we work to begin a project, complete a project or simply explore the various dimensions of ourselves and our lives through writing.
It has been proven that writing of all kinds is both therapeutic and enlightening on so many levels!
In Higher Ground, participants will examine and develop a practice of writing, get a lot of writing done, and connect with other creatives. Each week we'll discuss an approach to establishing a practice, those endorsed by writing teachers such as Julia Cameron, Natalie Goldberg, Anne Lamott, and Brenda Ueland. We'll also write for a good chunk of time, and share our writing in an encouraging and accepting space. Participants will leave inspired and motivated, but most importantly: a writer who writes and will continue writing! Sign up below!
